National Council on Aging (NCOA)

Aging with Dignity

Aging with Dignity is a non-profit agency that provides practical information, advice and legal tools including “Five Wishes”.  Five Wishes is a document that can be completed by an individual to let their friends and family know their wishes for end of life care.

Family Caregivers Alliance

FCA is a public voice for caregivers, offering information, education, services, research and support to help family members who are caring for loved ones with chronic, disabling health care conditions.

National Alliance for Caregiving  (NAC)

This organization is dedicated to providing support to family caregivers and the professionals who help them.  Caregivers are provided with tips and guides. Their goal is to increase public awareness of issues facing family caregivers.

The Wells Spouse Association

The Well Spouse Association is the only national organization focusing exclusively on the needs of spouses caring for a chronically ill and/or disabled husband, wife or partner. Individuals may join a support group through this web site as well as receive information and tips for issues specific to their situation.
